Alison Dunlap Junior Olympic Mountain Bike Series
We are excited to be a part of the Alison Dunlap Junior Olympic Mountain Bike Series this year. Here's some information from the USA Cycling web site:

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Colorado Springs, Colo. (March 4, 2008)— USA Cycling would like to announce the 2008 Alison Dunlap Junior Olympic Mountain Bike Series Calendar. This year’s calendar is comprised of 35 races across 17 states, an increase of more than 20 events over the 2007 calendar.
Entering its ninth year, the series was created by USA Cycling to provide racing opportunities for aspiring junior mountain bike athletes across the country. In 2003, world and national champion off-road cyclist Alison Dunlap endorsed the program and has since helped the series reach new levels.
As part of USA Cycling’s athlete development pipeline, the ADJOMTB Race Series gives young riders aged 15 to 22 the opportunity to enhance their athletic growth by earning invitations to USA Cycling Regional Development Camps as well as the 2008 USA Cycling Mountain Bike National Championships. In 2008, invitations to the regional development camps will be extended to the series’ top-five riders in the 15-16, 17-18 and 19-22 age categories. The top riders from each regional camp will be invited to a Junior and Espoir National Development Camp.
Most all ADJOMTB Race Series events will include age categories for boys and girls 10-years-old and younger through the under 22 age group.
For more information on the ADJOMTB Calendar races and the view the complete Schedule, click here.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

We encourage all Junior level racers to go for this! You can still enter the NMORS Series class you would normally enter so you'll get your points.

Course Pre-Riding
The cross country course (Beginner loop only) will be open for pre-riding on Friday, July 25th. You must register BEFORE riding. If you do not have a USA Cycling license, you will have to pay a $5 one-day fee and everyone will pay a $5 land access permit fee. The hill climb course will not be open due to a two-way traffic situation.

No one will be allowed to start on the practise course after 3:30 pm. Everyone must be off the course by 5:00 pm.

Kids Races
For kids 10 and under who are not entered in any other class. The races will stay in the base area. Free entry and prizes. Kid's 6 and under will race one loop accompanied by an adult. 7 to 10 year olds will race two loops.
